Age Range: 4 - 12
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Greetings Campers and Families,
My name is Rachel Astrup, and I am the new Camp Woodhill Director at Woodhill Country Club. I am very excited to meet you and your children this summer, and to have fun together engaging in structured games and activities as we continue to grow and learn more about ourselves!
I am a 4th grade teacher in the Prior Lake-Savage School District, where I have just completed my fifth year of teaching. I received my degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, and I’m currently working on my master's in Literacy Education through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. In addition to my professional experience as an elementary school teacher, I’ve had numerous summer jobs working with kids. This includes nannying, teaching tennis and swimming lessons, working as a school-age leader at a YMCA, and being a camp counselor and a day camp director at a bible camp. I truly enjoy working with children because of their infectious enthusiasm for the everyday things in life, inquisitive questions, and how each day is a new and fulfilling challenge! Other hobbies of mine include being active by running, biking, playing tennis, hiking, skiing, and kayaking. My boyfriend and I love to explore new places and enjoy the great outdoors. Our favorite adventures this past year were hiking in some national parks in Utah, North Carolina, and Colorado, along with some beach time in San Diego and skiing at Copper Mountain. Music is a passion of mine as well, and I was a saxophone player in the Concordia Band during my college years.
I’m really looking forward to applying my teaching and day camp director skills at Camp Woodhill. It will be a place where kids can spend their days participating in safe, fun, and meaningful activities, while keeping personal, social, emotional, and academic growth going throughout the summer. Summer is my favorite time of the year, and there’s no place I’d rather spend it than making each day memorable and special for kids!
I can’t wait to see you at camp!
