Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of WingHaven Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp WingHaven in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows WingHaven Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
A kid-friendly lunch will be provided by the club daily. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack.
A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
WingHaven Country Club would like to share the following information about its stance on carrying nuts or products containing nuts, in the Clubhouse and on the property. In the past, we have tried to provide a nut-free environment for the members and guests to enjoy. Due to many factors, both internal and external, providing a nut-free environment is not something that the Club can promise or provide. In the future, WingHaven will have limited products that contain nuts, and some products may be cooked using certain kinds of nuts or peanut oil. For our junior golf program and swim team, we will try our best to make these environments as nut-aware as we can, but there is simply no way we can guarantee a nut-free environment. At the end of the day, it is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to monitor what their children eat if they have any food allergies. We do want to make WingHaven as safe as we can, and hope you understand our position on this situation.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Ashly Kalz, and I am the Director of Camp WingHaven! I am so excited for the adventures we are planning. Many of our activities will allow your child to develop athletic, educational and social skills while immersed in traditional day camp experiences. I have many wonderful memories from camp as a young girl, and I’m excited to be able to help create those memories for your family.
One thing you should know about me: I love leading groups and being active in the community. With my previous experience working with children, I understand that summer is a wonderful opportunity for children to challenge their creativity, and create joyful memories in a safe and fun environment. In these unprecedented times, camp gives us the opportunity to safely bring activities into the development of their young minds while having a great time.
My passion for leading children motivated me to obtain my teaching certificate in elementary education. In the past, I spent 15 years teaching adults in the corporate world. I have a B.S. in Criminology from UMSL, a MBA from Webster University, and recently earned a certificate in Psychological Leadership from Cornell University. I have spent the last year as an elementary school building substitute and will be awarded my Missouri Teaching Certificate in May. With every unique personality, I have seen firsthand the happiness and perspective children bring to our world. In addition, I serve as an executive member on my children's school PTA board. My education, experiences and volunteering have given me a wide array of understanding on how adults can influence our children.
Alongside teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four young children. With a family of six, two dogs and a cat, our house is always going. We like to race BMX and dirt bikes along with our weekly trail hikes. You can usually find me hanging out on our back porch barbequing and relaxing next to the pool. My fondness for coffee has made me a fellow patron of the local Starbucks. If there could be only one food, I hope it's pizza. How can you go wrong with pizza?
I am looking forward to spending the summer or even just a week with you and your family!
