Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of WingHaven Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp WingHaven in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows WingHaven Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
A kid-friendly lunch will be provided by the club daily. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack.
A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
WingHaven Country Club would like to share the following information about its stance on carrying nuts or products containing nuts, in the Clubhouse and on the property. In the past, we have tried to provide a nut-free environment for the members and guests to enjoy. Due to many factors, both internal and external, providing a nut-free environment is not something that the Club can promise or provide. In the future, WingHaven will have limited products that contain nuts, and some products may be cooked using certain kinds of nuts or peanut oil. For our junior golf program and swim team, we will try our best to make these environments as nut-aware as we can, but there is simply no way we can guarantee a nut-free environment. At the end of the day, it is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to monitor what their children eat if they have any food allergies. We do want to make WingHaven as safe as we can, and hope you understand our position on this situation.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Laura Lillis and I will be the KE Camps Director for WingHaven this summer. I have my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Maryville University, and I plan to continue my education in graduate school for Audiology in the Fall.
I am originally from Belleville, IL. I have 2 sisters, one older and one younger. I am family-oriented and have molded my professional career based on my personal experiences. My youngest sister, Abigail, was born with a neurodiverse diagnosis which includes her primary diagnosis, Cerebral Palsy, in addition to several associated diagnoses. I spent my childhood with my father and older sister helping provide care for Abigail. My personal experiences guided me to the field of communication sciences and to my professional involvement with children.
During my undergraduate career, I have worked in a variety of settings with children. I have worked as an assistant teacher at The Goddard School, a cabin Leader at Wonderland Camp, and an inclusion counselor at the Jewish Community Center. Each of these leadership roles gave me crucial skills that led to me to this leadership role as a camp director.
Many of my jobs with children have been during the summer. I have absolutely loved all of my positions and I am eager to begin this new role at camp. I am enthusiastic, optimistic, dependable, and responsible. I truly believe that summer camp is a place to make lifelong memories and relationships. I cannot wait to begin this journey with you all!
I will see you all at camp,
Laura K. Lillis
