Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Happy Greetings Campers and Families!

Hello! My name is Veronica Goodman and I am so excited to introduce myself as your Camp Director for the second year here at the beautiful Westhampton Country Club! We had an amazing summer last year, and I am excited to make this summer even better!

I have been an educator for the last 19 years I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with children of all ages. For the last fourteen years I have been teaching middle school history, and prior to that I served as a lead teacher and camp director for preschool and elementary children. I have known since a young age that my calling was education and working with children. I feel that the best learning opportunities for children come through having exciting and fun experiences that promote education and positive social interactions, which we provide daily here all summer at camp!

I was born and raised here on Long Island and am a graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a degree in History and Secondary Education. I also received my master’s degree at SUNY Stony Brook in education. Some of the things I love to do on my free time are to play tennis, volleyball, hiking and dancing! I am so excited for the experiences your child will have this summer! Our camp offers our various athletic activities such as golf, tennis and LAX, as well as programs that will help your child flourish both educationally and socially!

As a mother of three sons, two in college and one in elementary school, I know how much time and effort goes into providing the best for our children. I want to assure you that I will be available anytime throughout this summer to ensure that your child has the best experience possible!

I love working with children because it is such a joy to witness when they are learning and trying something new, while also having fun! I know that this camp will provide them with amazing opportunities to continue to foster their friendships while also learning and growing as individuals. I am so excited to begin our amazing summer together and to make memories that will last a lifetime!

Sincerely,

Veronica Goodman
