Age Range: 5 - 12

All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families,

My name is Cory Bauer, and I am the KE Camps Director at River Club of Mequon. This is my fifth year as camp director, and I am ecstatic to spend another summer with your campers!

During the school year, I am a second grade teacher in Oak Creek at Cedar Hills Elementary School. Previously, I taught fourth grade. I have had a wonderful year of reading, exploring, and inventing with my students. I was born and raised in Germantown, Wisconsin. My family consists of my mom, dad, and older sister, Sam. I spend my free time in summer with them at our lake house where my favorite water activity is paddle boarding. I have also grown a huge passion for traveling. So far, I have traveled to England, Ireland, Mexico, and Spain. I am headed to Scotland and France in August!

As for camp this year, keep an eye on our schedule for new, soon-to-be, camp favorites! Every Monday will be Maker’s Monday, when will have time to create anything such as art, games, or inventions! Also, Iron Chef will return with new secret ingredients and there will be many more scavenger hunts! My favorite part about camp is watching friendships blossom. Within minutes at camp, any shyness that campers may have disappears! They are playing, laughing, and are carefree with new and old friends. I hope to provide every camper with this experience and foster the love of summer camp in every young camper!

No two days at camp are exactly the same and I cannot wait to see you this summer!
