Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
Hello to all! My name is Alicia Rill and I am excited to be returning as the Shark Camp Director this summer at The Lake Forest Club. I look forward to spending another fun-filled summer together and I cannot wait to share all that we have in store for you!
This will be my fourth summer at camp. Initially, I began my camp journey as a group leader of the Minnows, then moved into the role of assistant director, and last summer I had the privilege of expanding upon my leadership role as the director. These last three years have been nothing but rewarding. I have had the pleasure of working with wonderful teams of staff, and an even more amazing group of campers.
During the school year, you can find me in the classroom, although this year via a virtual classroom, teaching 6th grade mathematics. This is my 8th year teaching. I am always ready for an adventure, which is one of the reasons I simply cannot wait to get back to camp, ESPECIALLY after the challenging year we all have had. I am grateful for the opportunity to incorporate and share my creativity through arts and crafts activities, to play all types of fun and exciting games in and out of the pool, and to make connections and build strong trusting relationships with each and every one of the campers. My ultimate goal is to establish a safe environment for all, one in which everyone feels comfortable, valued, and welcomed as arrive at camp each day.
Summer camp is a time for creating friendships, having fun, and for making memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot wait to dress up for our Wacky Wednesday themes, lead a group of chefs through our Iron Chef activities, nor can I wait to spend time learning how to make the coolest friendship bracelets with the help of the expert bracelet makers at our camp! I look forward to making an endless number of memories, each of which will forever be in my heart. My hope is that you too can make a scrapbook of memories of your experiences this summer at camp to share for years to come.
See you at camp!
