Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
Summer is almost here, and you know what that means….it’s almost time for the start of camp! My name is Jarred Strine, and I am excited to join the KE team as Camp Director at The Country Club of Harrisburg.
I am currently a high school life skills teacher and junior high wrestling coach in Biglerville, PA. I have been teaching for the past 7 years, and love what I do. I graduated from York College of PA in December of 2012 with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education. I am currently continuing my education through Liberty University in pursuit of my master's degree in Sports Administration. My goal is eventually to become an athletic director for a local high school or university. This will be my first summer with KE Camps, but not my first year of running a camp. Just a few years ago, I served at BSA Camp Tuckahoe in Dillsburg, PA, where I was their Archery Director in 2012, Program Director in 2013, and Camp Director from 2014-2016.
I have had some great opportunities over the years. While in college, I traveled to Miami, FL and Biloxi, MS to help with hurricane relief projects. I also served as a ride operator at Hershey Park from 2010-2011, where my favorite rides to operate were The Great Bear, Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, and the Monorail. I got married to my loving wife, Anna, in June of 2017, and together we adopted our dog, Ace, who will be turning 2 this summer. Together, we enjoy going camping, hiking, going to the beach and mountains, traveling to different countries, taking Ace for walks, and spending time with our family and friends. I am a big time Carolina Panthers Fan, as well as a big time Penn State Football and Wrestling Fan!
I am certain that this summer will be a great experience for all who join us at CCH. Along with golf, tennis, and swimming, we plan to incorporate programs like nature walks, various cooking experiences, STEM challenges, and CCH’s Got Talent, just to name a few.
I look forward to having a great summer and seeing you all soon!
