The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Longview in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows The Club at Longview to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made by June 6, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Hello Camp Families,
Welcome! My name is Scott Hilliard, and I am proud to serve as the new Camp Director at The Club at Longview. I am thrilled to meet you all and have an amazing time at camp this summer!
First things first, I’d like you to know a little bit about me. I absolutely LOVE camp! I have the best memories of camp as a child, and even more amazing experiences as an adult working at camps. My summers were full of activities like games, science experiments, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, team builders, songs, and so much more! These childhood memories are what motivated me to pursue child development and education as a career. Since a teenager, I have worked in summer camps and other childcare areas, too. I understand the importance of a meaningful, well-rounded summer camp, and it is not something that I take lightly. I am counting down the days to a summer full of enriching activities, differentiated for all ages and uniquely designed for the enjoyment of each camper.
As an educator, I enjoy building relationships with children and helping them grow. I love to be silly and goofy with kids, and find myself enjoying the youthful energy that kids provide! I currently teach 5th and 6th grade at a private school on the beautiful, tropical island of Ambergris Caye, Belize. Belize is a small country in the Central American/ Caribbean region. I have lived in Belize for over five years, and enjoy returning to North Carolina each summer. I grew up in the Matthews/ Weddington area, so I am excited to be back in my hometown working at a local camp! I have also held positions in various roles at schools, childcare centers, summer camps, etc. Throughout my years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages.
When I am not in the classroom or working with kids, which is rare, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends - preferably in an outdoor setting. I love to travel and try new things (my most recent trip was to visit some of the ancient Mayan ruins)! I also enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the beautiful marine life in the Caribbean Sea. I like to start my days with a fresh cup (or two) of coffee, an absolute necessity in my life! Alongside my hobbies and interests, much of my spare time is spent studying and furthering my education.
I love working with and learning from kids every day. I am so excited to bring this passion to KE Camps, and to meet each and every one of you amazing campers!
