Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of The Club at ArrowCreek or resident of ArrowCreek, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp ArrowCreek in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows The Club at ArrowCreek to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 10
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
I am extremely excited and honored to introduce myself as the Director at Camp ArrowCreek. My name is Melanie McGarry. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Over the past four years, I have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. Teaching has always been a dream of mine and I am excited to take my experiences as a teacher and bring it to camp! I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education in May of 2015 from the University of Nevada, Reno. I recently received my Masters of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Literacy Studies in May of 2018, also from the University of Nevada, Reno. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, crafting, and baking. My favorite color is blue, my favorite season is the summer, I love spaghetti and chocolate chip cookies.
As a child, I remember attending summer camp and all of the friends and memories that I made there! I looked forward to the different activities that were planned each day. There was always a new adventure to experience! I look forward to making the KE Camps experience the very best for our campers, staff, and families. At KE Camps, we focus on providing campers with fun and engaging activities for all ages! Along with golf lessons twice a week and swimming daily, we will also be doing arts & crafts, fun activities with food, team building activities and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) each week! Every Wednesday will be Wacky Wednesday with a different theme and each Thursday is Thankful Thursday, a time that campers can reflect on what they are thankful for and give back to our community.
Like the students in my classroom, I am looking forward to getting to know your child and having them become one of my “kids,” building memories together as a group of campers and counselors.
Can’t wait to see you at camp!
