Club Registration Requirements
Please note that you must be a member of The Bedens Brook Club in order to enroll your child in camp.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious lunch, afternoon snack and beverage daily. There will be a lunch charge of $6.25 per day per child. These charges will be billed to your club member account.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
Welcome to Camp Bedens Brook! My name is Marisa Cumello, and I am thrilled to be returning as your Camp Director for the second year. I love creating enriching summer camp experiences for children of all ages, and am excited to work with my wonderful team of counselors to make
this the BEST summer ever!
I am currently a fourth grade special education teacher in Edison, and have taught there for the past three years. Before that, I graduated from Seton Hall University in 2017 with a BSE in Elementary/Special Education. This will be my fifth year working with KE Camps, as I was a camp counselor and co-director at Raritan Valley Country Club during my first three years. In addition to my work with KE Camps, I was
a camp counselor at Branchburg's Recreation Department for a number of years. My experiences working in camps have led me to a career in teaching, and I strive to foster engaging and memorable summer experiences that will inspire your campers to show their S.M.I.L.E. values everyday!
Some fun facts about me are that I had the AMAZING opportunity to travel with Seton Hall's Basketball team twice for the March Madness Tournament (Denver, CO and Greenville, SC). I have performed at Carnegie Hall with my college choir. My hobbies include cooking, baking, taking my dog on long walks, and CrossFit.
Some of my favorite memories from last summer include putting together the Alex’s Lemonade Stand event, organizing a Halloween parade, as well as making pizza with the amazing kitchen staff. This summer, we plan to coordinate a multitude of activities with our weekly camp themes, including STEM challenges, scavenger hunts, relay races, crafts, and exciting contests! We will also be giving back to the community through our Thankful Thursday projects. I'm looking forward seeing both returning and new campers this summer!
All the best,
