All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
I’m so excited to be back as director for another year! This will be my third year working with KE Camps, and I couldn’t ask for a more fun summer than one spent at camp with your kids. My favorite part of the camp experience is meeting all of our new campers and seeing our returning ones. I also really love swimming every day. One of the best parts of camp is seeing the kids that return week after week and watching their growth in the pool; growing from timid to confident during those weeks really is amazing to see!
Since some of you have never met me and this may be your first experience with camp, let me give you a little background. For the past eight years, I have worked as an aide in a special ed classroom right here in El Dorado Hills. My job lets me help people who need it and I love watching the growth and the “lightbulb” moments that happen in a classroom. My job allows me to be part of some really great experiences, and affords me the opportunity to pursue other interests as well. I work in a very supportive environment and am lucky everyday. I am also a student at Folsom Lake College and am working on a degree in English and a credential to teach it to high school students.
When I’m not working or at school you can find me at home with my husband, my two daughters, who are high school and middle school aged, and a very spoiled cat. My family is amazing and keeps me smiling even when things get tough. We spend time camping, biking, and watching movies; we especially love all of the Marvel movies! We love to adventure together and some of our more recent memorable adventures have been camping at the Lava Beds National Monument and visiting Avila Beach and learning to body surf. I can’t get enough of our fun times!
I can’t wait for camp to begin and to create new and amazing memories with you!
