A Traditional Day Camp at Your Club
Our camp offers the unique balance of a traditional day camp experience in the convenient and familiar setting of the country club. With a combination of outstanding amenities, exciting programming, and an experienced and energetic staff team, our structured and fun day camp will be the perfect place for your child.
|Early Bird - Weekly (Tues-Thurs)||$195||$245|
One-Time Registration Fee: $40
This one-time non-refundable fee includes 2 camp t-shirts for your child.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2019 is now open and will continue until we are full. So, you may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is LaVerne Chambers-Alan. I want to introduce myself as the Director of Camp Royal at Royal Melbourne Country Club. Originally from Chicago, I have been working with children since 1998. I love children; it is an honor to help develop your precious jewels this summer and I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity.
As a Sunday school teacher, vacation bible school (VBS) director and before and after care worker, I enjoy creating fun, safe environments for children to flourish and grow. Working with children is fun! It gives me an opportunity to nurture their development and impart my love of learning. In addition, I am a math instructor at the College of Lake County. As a mom who has sent my child to several VBS’s and overnight summer camps, I can relate to your concerns about your C.A.M.P.E.R.S. As moms, dads and other loving family members, we want our children to build solid relationships. We want our children to have fun. We want our children to develop in fitness, character and intellect. We want our precious, royal jewels to be safe! As the director, I create the structure to make what we want happen.
Certainly, your child will have many zany, fun-filled opportunities at camp such as golf, swimming, tennis, crafts, team building, character development, obstacle courses, slime, and Wacky Wednesdays. This letter serves as the first of many conversations that you and I will have about the success of your child at KE Camps this summer.
I look forward to seeing you and meeting your children.
