Club Registration Requirements

If you are not a Club Member of Panther Creek Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Panther Creek in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Panther Creek Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 4 - 10

All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Golf: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Tennis: recreational instruction
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day
Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
Cooking
STEM Challenges

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $25 per week. If you would like to purchase this option, you may do so during online enrollment. Otherwise, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your child.

We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Payments, Cancellations, Refunds

Registration & Payments

Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full.  So, you may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

Cancellations & Refunds

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com.  Cancellations made by June 6, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee).   After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Meet Your Camp Director

Hello Campers and Families!

My name is Alexa Stanley and I am the new camp director for Camp Panther Creek! I am so very excited to meet and have fun with you! I believe the summer should be a fun time to recharge and refresh for kids, and my memories of camp were always my favorite parts of the summer. I intend to help everyone at camp make new friends and new memories this summer.

During the rest of the year, I am a school social worker in Jacksonville. I love working with kids and have extensive experience with them! I have a master's degree in social work and have worked with kids for about 6 years now. I love working with kids because I have 5 younger siblings who always made my life more exciting and more interesting. Each child is different and special, and I love creating unique relationships with every child I work with. My favorite thing about working with kids is the energy they bring to everything. I am looking forward to swimming, doing crafts, playing games, and doing other fun activities with you!

During my college years, I did a lot of community service and have been very passionate about helping others from a young age. I have worked extensively with children of all ages and I feel like I have seen everything, so very little surprises or rattles me! I know how important positive relationships and a little bit of love are to shaping a child’s life, and I hope to bring that to every child I work with.

One thing about me: I love to be busy. I have a dog named Lily who loves to be outside, just like me! I also enjoy reading, cooking, writing, and anything creative or artistic. I just recently moved to Springfield and am so excited to be spending my first summer here at Panther Creek. I have a positive attitude, many ideas, and lots of passion to share.

I can’t wait to meet you and your family and look forward to having the best summer yet with you!

Sincerely,

Alexa Stanley
