All campers must be at least 3 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at email@example.com. Cancellations made by June 13, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
Hello, my name is Chris Champagne and I am the new director of The Camps at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club. I am excited to be back and look forward to having a fun summer with you all!
My 10 years of experience as camp counselor and site director at various summer camps has helped me know how to create an enjoyable and safe environment for our campers. Summer is a great time to learn new things and be able to have some fun as well. I especially want to encourage our first-time campers to fully embrace the experience of camp. My education background is a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated from a small college in Indiana in 2010.I started my career working with troubled youth in challenging environments, including residential facilities and alternative schools. I returned to my love of working summer camps while traveling across America with my wife.
When we settled in California in 2017, I became a para educator for SCUSC and I am now working for Rocketship School District during the school year. I have worked with a variety of age groups from different backgrounds, educational needs, behavioral issues, and in a variety of environments. All my years of working with different children helps remind me how important each child is and I feel joy working with them. Last years’ experience working at PAHGCC has helped prepare me to continue working with returning and new campers!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Bre, and my dog, Lexi. We enjoy going to beaches, hiking, playing board games, and traveling. I also am a Marvel fan and enjoy watching many types of movies. When it comes to sports, I am an all-around Chicago fan (GO CUBS) since that’s where I was born and raised, but I’m learning to cheer for the Warriors and 49ers, too.
I’m so excited to be your Camp Director at PAHGCC. I am looking forward to seeing returning campers from last year and welcoming new campers to the PAHGCC family.
