All campers must be at least 3 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch and snack for every camper each day.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Campers should dress in comfortable white shorts and white sneakers. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.
Don’t forget to take a look at the important camp forms below.
The State Health Department requires a record of immunization OR letter stating the medical or religious exemption reason to be collected before your child may attend camp.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
It is my privilege to inform you that I will be the Director at Camp Navesink this summer! Previously, I was the Director at Camp Cherry Valley in Skillman, NJ and I am so excited to be back with KE Camps.
I am currently a 6th grade social studies teacher at KIPP BOLD Charter School in Newark, New Jersey. I have been a teacher for four years and have been dedicated to enriching the minds of my scholars and helping them achieve success in a variety of ways. I also usually coach boys basketball, soccer and lead a chess club but due to remote learning, we do not have competitive sports this year - though I still lead the chess club virtually.
I received my degree in History from Florida Atlantic University in 2015 and have since dedicated myself to bringing history into the classroom through a lively and insightful lens. Prior to graduation and thereafter, I worked at a variety of summer camps for 7 summers. I had been a counselor for 3 years, a sports coach for 2 years and the assistant director at KE Camps for a year before transitioning into the director role.
I plan to use my past experiences to make this summer the most memorable and entertaining yet! Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, playing sports (ultimate frisbee, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, and tennis). I love to swim and enjoy water sports such as surfing and skim-boarding. I also love hiking, boating, and camping whenever possible. I enjoy working with kids in many academic areas such as historical analysis, reading comprehension, and writing. Some of the important skills I try to impart on my students are patience, integrity, hard work, and teamwork.
Lastly, as a person who attended camp from an early age through high school, I relish in the memories and friends that I made along the way and as camp director it is my goal to ensure that my campers gain lifelong memories and build lasting friendships that they will cherish for a lifetime. This is going to be the best summer ever! We are going to have so much fun and learn so much. I can’t wait to see you all at camp!
All the best,
