Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made by June 6, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Hello AMAZING Campers and Parents!
My name is Kaitlyn Evans and I am your new director at Camp Myers Park. I want to warmly welcome you to our AMAZING summer program and cannot wait to get to know you and your camper!
We are going to make awesome memories this summer! I remember my own childhood, spending my summers enthralled in the creativity, teambuilding, and excitement of camp. My goal is to challenge my campers to think outside the box while having a blast in a safe environment. I love providing experiences for children to broaden their horizons and kinesthetic activities to meet their energy level. Our days will be full of fun hands-on activities and events, differentiated for the various ages and enjoyment of our campers!
As an educator for the last decade, my passion is enriching the lives of children. I have taught in kindergarten through high school, as well as trained and led other educators for the last six years, but my favorite part of teaching is the connections I have made with my students. I keep in touch with many of my former students and I am often asked to edit papers or write college referrals for my previous kids! Recently, I relocated from Florida and currently serve as a Media Coordinator for a local elementary school in Charlotte. My passion for education has motivated me to pursue my EdD in Educational Leadership and Administrative Policy, of which I am in my final year, completing my research and finishing my dissertation on relationship building in the classroom.
Outside of my work in the classroom, both as a student and a teacher, my time is spent with my family. My husband and I enjoy taking our three children on hikes and adventures. We are enjoying the time we can spend in nature and the historical experiences we have access to in North Carolina; much of our time in Florida was spent at theme parks, which is fun, but not every weekend! Personally, I enjoy snuggling with my pets (and I have a lot!), yoga, traveling (my favorite exploration was Alaska!), crafting, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Diet Coke!
I cannot wait to see my AMAZING campers' smiling faces on the first day of camp! Remember that I am here for you and your camper. We are going to have a wonderful summer together!
See you at camp!
