Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Locust Hill Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Locust in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Locust Hill Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Erica Kramarz, and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new KE Camps Director at Locust Hill Country Club! I am looking forward to getting to know all the campers this summer, but I thought it would be nice if everyone knew a little bit about myself before camp begins.
I just recently graduated from St. John Fisher College in December of 2018 with a degree in Inclusive Adolescent Education and English. Currently, I am a long-term substitute for a 10th grade ELA class at Irondequoit High School, and am beginning my search for a full-time teaching position for the upcoming school year. Some things you should know about me are that I am a huge animal lover (I have a special love for my two miniature schnauzers), I am very friend and family-oriented, and I am a die-hard baseball fan. Go Dodgers!
Even though being camp director for KE Camps is a new position to me, I am familiar with similar positions and the camp experience. Ever since 2015 I was a camp counselor for a summer recreation program through the YMCA in my hometown of Perry, NY. This past summer I was the director of the camp. Although I had amazing experiences there, I have permanently moved to Rochester so I was looking for a similar position closer to my new home-- those are just some of the many reasons why the position at Locust Hill Country Club is a perfect fit for me!
I am already counting down the days until camp! Even though I love teaching high-schoolers, I always look forward to spending my summers with the kids. I hope you all are getting excited too!
See you at camp!
