Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of The Clubs of Kingwood, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Kingwood in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows The Clubs of Kingwood to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 5 - 11
All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Lisa Harris. I teach 5th grade math and science, and it is one of my favorite things in the world! In 2016, I graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (Go Islanders!) with a degree in Psychology. At that time, I decided I wanted to work with kids and grow their minds. I entered a graduate program at Texas State University, where I studied Early Childhood Education. After a few years of teaching, I decided to go back to school again! I am currently working on another degree in counseling. I love learning, and I love inspiring others to discover and grow.
Growing up, I attended many summer camps. My favorite part of each camp was the exciting outdoor activities that I got to experience. Canoeing, swimming, and shooting bow and arrows are just a few of the fun things I got to participate in during my time as a camper. As I got older, I started to cherish the people I met and the friends I made at camp. As a camp counselor, I loved providing a safe and welcoming environment, so many kids could have the same exciting experiences I had growing up.
When I am not teaching or learning, I love taking my pup, Stevie, to the dog park. She loves rolling around in the mud puddles and meeting new doggo friends. I also enjoy trying new things and going to new places around Houston. Being outdoors during the summer is one of my favorite things to do! I enjoy going to the beach, taking a hike, or just hanging with friends on my patio.
I am incredibly excited to be your camp director and facilitator of fun! I am thrilled to be able to work with kids in a setting that is open to discovery and summer fun. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Let’s have a great summer!
