All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Welcome Families and Campers!
My name is Melissa Martinez, and I am so excited to be part of the KE Camps team! Even more importantly, I am thrilled to be your child’s camp director this summer! It is going to be a fun summer together, filled with adventures and memories. I can’t wait to get to know all of you.
Before we meet in person, I want to share a bit about myself with you. I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. I attended the University of Northern Colorado, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I also have an Early Childhood Education endorsement. I taught math and literacy for grades k-5 for ten years in the Cherry Creek School District and I was the Kindergarten Enrichment Director for three years. This coming school year, I will be an Early Childhood Education Director.
I have three children; Nevaeh who is 17, Lauren who is 16, and Marques who is 9! I also have two dogs, Rocky and Mya, and a bearded dragon named Frankie! With any free time I have, I enjoy spending it with my family. We like to go camping and jet skiing. I also enjoy barbecues, movies, shopping and a good book. Some of my favorite things are pizza, ice cream, the color red, and football!
This summer is going to be an explosion of fun for both the campers and our staff! I am so excited to be your Director, and I cannot wait to get to know you and your campers!
