Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Form Downloads

Don’t forget to take a look at the important camp forms below.

The State Health Department requires a record of immunization OR letter stating the medical or religious exemption reason to be collected before your child may attend camp.

Parent Manual

Be sure to read this manual for important and specific details about camp.

NJ Camper Health Form Supplement

Download this health form, print, complete and fax or email back to us as soon as you can and definitely before camp begins. You may also log back in to the registration site after you have enrolled your child to upload the paperwork there. We will ask for some medical information about your child during the online registration process. In addition, NJ state law requires that this supplement be on file for every camper. We thank you for your cooperation in getting this form to us in a timely manner.

Authorization to Administer Medication Form

Should your child require any medication during the camp day (including an Epi-Pen or Inhaler), we ask that you complete this form and send it directly to our office or hand it to your Camp Director on your child’s first day of camp.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear KE Camp Families,

Hello! My name is Alexandra Christ, and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with your child at KE Camps! I graduated from Elizabethtown College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Education with a focus in Language Arts. Education has always been a passion of mine. I have worked in a special educational school for 2 years and have worked as a 6th grade language arts teacher for the past three years. I believe that teachers are today’s artists who sculpt the minds of students and shape them to interact with the world around them as their own unique masterpiece.

In addition, I have worked as a summer camp counselor for 9 years. I am passionate about camp because it allows for students to engage in the world around them outside of the school walls. Summer camp is a great opportunity for kids to play, learn from one another, and create cherished memories. I am a firm believer that camp can produce leadership, pride, imagination, ownership, curiosity, determination, growth, teamwork, and success.

My favorite hobby is running. I have been an avid runner since I was about 5 years old. I ran track and cross country in
high school, earning all varsity letters. I also competed at Elizabethtown College on the track and cross country team
where I received varsity letters all four years. I love to compete in local races and travel for competitions. I have done a
Tough Mudder in New Hampshire and in April I flew out to Oregon to run my first marathon! Based on my experience as
an athlete, I value the idea of teamwork and dedication. When I am not running around, I enjoy traveling, reading, being
outside, going to the beach, and spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I have a cat named Mylo and a dog
named Fermac. These two animals bring great joy to my life.

I am excited to have the opportunity to get to know your child this summer and work together to make sure they have the
best experience at KE Camps. Working with children has always been something special to me because it is a great way to
build bonds, see friendships grow, and see smiling faces. The most rewarding part is seeing delight and elation in all my
campers each and every day. Summer is supposed to be an enjoyable time of the year and I can guarantee that our
campers will have unforgettable memories. I look forward to working with you and your child to create a rewarding
summer experience that will be treasured forever!

Alexandra Christ
