Club Registration Requirements

If you are not a Club Member of Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Fair Oaks Ranch in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 4 - 10

All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf and tennis lessons at camp, please click here.

Golf: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Tennis: 2 recreational group lessons each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day

Group Games

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Full payment is due upon registration.  This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH Payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!

We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.

Covid-19 Safety Policy

As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.

We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly!  We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Please find our 2021 Covid-19 Safety Policy here.

Form Downloads

Don’t forget to take a look at the important camp forms below.

Parent Manual

Be sure to read this manual for important and specific details about camp.

TX Camper Health Form Supplement

Download this health form, print, complete and fax or email back to us as soon as you can and definitely before camp begins. You may also log back in to the registration site after you have enrolled your child to upload the paperwork there. We will ask for some medical information about your child during the online registration process. In addition, TX state law requires that a record of immunizations be on file for every camper. We thank you for your cooperation in getting this form to us in a timely manner.

Authorization to Administer Medication Form

Should your child require any medication during the camp day (including an Epi-Pen or Inhaler), we ask that you complete this form and send it directly to our office or hand it to your Camp Director on your child’s first day of camp.

Meet Your Camp Director

Greeting Campers and Families,

I cannot wait to meet you! We are going to have a phenomenal time this summer! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Aly Crawford, your camp director.

I absolutely love science and the outdoors. I try to spend as much time outside as possible. A lot has changed for me in the last year. I got married in January and we recently bought our first house! My husband and I are passionate about growing our own food. We are currently in the process of transforming our new backyard into a garden where we can grow food for ourselves and for our rabbits and chickens. We hope that we will be able to sell soon at farmers markets! On top of the small farm we are building, I also love learning about animals. Whether I’m trying to identify animals on my walks in the park, exploring the zoo, or watching my hero, David Attenborough, I love learning about the unique animals of our world!

I graduated from Trinity University here in San Antonio in 2015 with my Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication and my Master of Arts in Education in 2016. Currently, I am a 7th grade science teacher at Harris Middle School in NEISD. I love being able to use my talents to help others feel successful. Some people have asked me, “If you’re a teacher, why do you want to spend your summer with kids, too?” I suppose this is a good question. The answer is because it’s the best, most fun, way to spend my days. I get to be outside with kids, loving camp, every day! I cannot imagine anything better.

I grew up going to summer camps and consider the experience invaluable. From learning about a variety of sports to (my favorite) arts and crafts, I think summer camp is the best place to be. My childhood was shaped by the wonderful counselors and campers I met. I know this summer is going to be amazing. After the times we’ve had recently, I think we could all use some time outside to play and grow together.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Aly
