Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $25 per week. If you would like to purchase this option, you may do so during online enrollment. Otherwise, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your child.
A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Camp Edison Families,
My name is Pat Stone, and I will be returning as director of Camp Edison for my fifth year! Camp Edison holds a special place in my heart, and has become a second home. It has filled my summers, and the summers of campers with an unforgettable experience.
At Camp Edison we will be providing campers with a wide variety of activities for campers to enjoy. From sporting activities (such as tennis, golf, swimming, tag games, soccer, and martial arts) to STEAM activities, arts and crafts, team building games, and wacky theme days, we will have something for all campers to get excited about. We also work with campers to exemplify the character traits of SMILE (Sportsmanship, Mindfulness, Inclusion, Leadership, and Enthusiasm) at camp to make sure we have an accepting and caring environment that all of our campers feel secure in.
When I am not at camp you can find me on the golf course, skiing the slopes, or teaching music in two elementary schools in Albany, NY. I also love spending time with my family doing a variety of outdoor activities. With 15 years of experience teaching at the elementary level, I have learned that the more entertaining and engaging you are, students and campers listen and pay attention better. With that said, do not be surprised if you hear stories at home that I dressed up as the cat in the hat, or that Pat’s “twin” brother from Australia made an appearance at camp that day. I will strive to provide the most amount of fun possible for your child while maintaining a safe camp environment.
I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to provide an amazing experience for your child this summer. As a father of two children, I know that these decisions are not made lightly. Rest assured that I will provide a meaningful experience while keeping your child safe. I look forward to meeting you, and to an amazing summer at Camp Edison!
See you soon,
