Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Edgewood Valley Country Club you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp EVCC in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Edgewood Valley Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Activities
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. There will be a lunch charge of $20 per week per child. These charges will be billed to your club member or sponsoring club member account. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Packing List
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:
Payments, Cancellations, Refunds
Registration & Payments
Registration for Summer 2021 is open and will continue until we are full. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept ACH payments and American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at info@kecamps.com. Cancellations made by June 14, 2021 will be refunded in full (less the registration fee). After that, there are no refunds. We will, however, always offer a credit towards a future week (if space is available) or for next summer.
Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director

Hello Parents, Campers, and Families!
Welcome to KE Camps at Edgewood Valley Country Club! My name is Alexandra Jacobs, and I am thrilled to be the Camp Director for the second year. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to create a safe, fun, and exciting summer camp experience for your child!
Before we meet in person, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am a 7th and 8th grade science and ELA teacher, and have the absolute pleasure of introducing children to hands-on science experiments, engineering projects, S.T.E.M., and coding, as well as instilling in the students a love of reading! Encouraging students with creative and engaging learning activities and projects is my passion and forte.
In 2011, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with middle school endorsements. Since then, I have taught professionally grades 3rd through 8th for eight years, and I was a substitute teacher for two years. In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and jewelry-making.
I love being outdoors; and enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and playing sports. I am working on my water-skiing.
This is my second year working with KE Camps and Edgewood Valley Country Club. Last year we had an amazing four weeks of camp! We had tennis and golf with our pros, Iron Chef competitions, water games, swimming, crafts, Thankful Thursday projects, S.T.E.M. projects, Wacky Wednesdays, and SMILE band ceremonies. My favorite memories include the staff versus campers water balloon fight, Olympic sporting events, and marble maze creations! When you see me at camp, please stop and say, "Hi!" I would love to chat with you and get to know you more. See you then!
Sincerely,
Alexandra Jacobs
