Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $25 per week. If you choose this option, the lunch fee will be charged to your club member account. Otherwise, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your child.
A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Registration for Summer 2019 is now open and will continue until we are full. So, you may add additional weeks as the summer goes on. You must be enrolled in advance, however, in order to attend camp. We are happy to accept online registrations up until the night before the start of each week of camp, provided that space is available.
Full payment is due upon registration. This includes a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 which includes 2 camp t-shirts. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
If your child has special needs or will require extra assistance while at camp, please contact us before you enroll to discuss!
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations or changes must be made in writing to our office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
After a long winter, it is so nice to be thinking about summer camp - the golf, tennis and especially the POOL! I am so excited to be coming back and to have Corey Eastman as a co-director. Many parents know me already, as I have held the Director position in the past. I did take a year off for some teaching-related pursuits, but returned last year for a fun-filled summer. For those who do not know me, I am a special education teacher in the Davenport School District. I have been in the district for 18 years and currently work at Central High School.
In addition to teaching, I have held several different coaching positions to include volleyball, basketball, track and softball. I truly enjoy sports and helping athletes reach their potential as well as watching them have fun and create bonds with their teammates.
In my spare time, I like doing home projects, decorating, and I am a consultant for Mary and Martha which is a home decor company owned by Hallmark. I also enjoy outside activities like biking, boating, swimming and gardening. I live in Davenport with my husband, Mike, and I have two children, Brynn and Ben, two dogs, Osborne and Eddie, and a turtle named Wilbur.
As you will find out, I am a very hands-on director and like to keep campers busy and on the go. Each day will be structured with two physical activities (like a camp favorite of Sponge-Ball Dodgeball). We also have art, food, and team-building activities each day. Last year, I started a reading activity after lunch where I read aloud and the campers got to relax, listen and talk about the book. We will also be continuing our Thankful Thursday projects. I can’t say enough about the members and staff of DCC who gave to our lemonade stand last year and supported our other projects that give to others. You are part of the reason this job is so enjoyable.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you again and hopefully I will meet many new campers and families for the first time. Camp is truly a wonderful experience and I can’t tell you how much I an looking forward to the summer with your child.
See you soon!
