Club Registration Requirements

If you are not a Club Member of Country Club of Roswell you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp.  The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with CCR Kids Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor.  This policy allows Country Club of Roswell to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 5 - 12

All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

You have the option to purchase a kid-friendly lunch provided by the club for $25 per week. If you would like to choose this option, please bring a check made out to “Country Club of Roswell” in the amount due every Monday. Alternatively, if you are a member of the club, you may request that the lunch charge be billed to your member account. Please notify your camp director at the beginning of each week if you would like to handle the lunch billing through the club. If you prefer to forego the lunch provided by the club, please pack a lunch for your child in a cooler or backpack.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families,

Hello and welcome! My name is Mariam Hanna, and I am thrilled to be returning as your Director this summer! I cannot wait to get to know all our campers and parents. I am sure that we will have a wonderful summer together filled with fun, adventure, and many memories to be made!

I am an artistic and fun-loving teacher who enjoys being around children of all ages. I am currently working as a substitute teacher at several schools in the Johns Creek, Duluth, and Milton areas. I have over 15 years’ worth of experience working with children as a teacher, a nanny, a camp counselor, a camp coordinator, a camp director, a tutor, a youth volunteer, and a children's event coordinator for 9 years. I spent the last 6 years working with 4th-12th grade girls as part of Girl Talk Inc.'s peer-mentoring program. I also work at the Country Club of Roswell’s Kids Korner in the evenings. I truly cannot imagine my life without being around kids. I love working with children because I get to help them build their characters, have fun, and introduce them to new things.

I am trilingual, and I have taught myself Spanish and Arabic. I am now trying to learn Korean.  I love to cook and am a skilled artist. I cannot wait to share my talents and skills with the kids. When I am not cooking or painting, I love ice skating, origami, reading, going to parks, exploring Georgia’s historical sites, museums, and festivals.

I am looking forward to bringing back our weekly STEM Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, picnic and community service Thankful Thursdays, and Fun Fridays. I have been gathering new ideas all year. Other things to look forward to during camp are unique art and crafts activities, scavenger hunts, photo booths, camp "store," science experiments, STEM challenges and so much more. I cannot wait to see our counselors, the kids, and all of you parents!

I always encourage my campers and students to be brave enough to be the best versions of themselves possible every day, whether that is by being kind to those around them or trying to learn something new.

See you all at camp!

Mariam Hanna
