Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Greetings Parents and Families!
Summer is quickly approaching and that means Camp Arrowhead is just around the corner! I am thrilled to be joining you as Camp Director this summer.
I received my undergraduate degree in Business and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Oregon University. I walked on to the school softball team and was the activity coordinator in my residence hall, responsible for planning weekly activities for the residents. Since graduating, I have been an educator, teaching in classrooms up and down the West Coast. I am currently teaching kindergarten and recently finished a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. I love the excitement my students have when learning! I serve on the school site leadership team, host after school clubs, and plan events to make sure every student has access to opportunities that will help them to thrive.
When not teaching, I am busy chasing my two daughters around to their many after school activities. They are 9 and 10 and are always excited to hit the road and explore, especially if it involves the beach! We have one pet, a small Chihuahua we rescued from our school playground. I enjoy helping coach the softball team at my school, and anytime I can squeeze in time on the field, it’s a great day! When not playing sports, I enjoy being a spectator. I try to make it to Chase Field as often as possible over the summer to cheer on the Diamondbacks.
I am looking forward to the new adventures and memories my staff and I will create with the campers this year. We are looking forward to working with you and your children to make this a fun-filled summer that will leave lasting memories with your child for years to come.
With Warm Regards,
