Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks

The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch and snack for every camper each day.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts.   Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts.   If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Meet Your Camp Director

Dear Campers and Families,

I’m happy to be returning as Camp Director for the fourth year at Butterfield Country Club. Throughout my professional career, I’ve been involved in the field of education since obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Most of my work has been teaching in elementary schools.

When I am not working, I socially enjoy being with my friends and family, and traveling during my vacation breaks. I have been to the Cayman Islands, where I snorkeled and swam with friendly stingrays at a sandbar. I have also gone camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and white water rafting while visiting Utah and Wyoming. I’m very fortunate to have experienced such amazing adventures!

One of the many things I love about camp is the kids being excited about coming teach day to see and meet new friends. They will be involved in many fun and hands on activities that are planned throughout the summer. There will also be opportunities for campers to be super creative while being engaged in kid-friendly projects, without the use of technology!

The favorites among our campers have been our Wacky Wednesday themes; this year includes Beach Party, Superhero Campers, and Camp Carnival. One day a week, Camp Iron Chef is scheduled when the kids get to make their own creations out of simple foods, and then judged by staff and fellow campers. We also play a variety of team games either indoors or outside. The campers end each camp day enjoying the pool!

So, get ready to SMILE, build friendships, and have fun at camp this summer!
