Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Brookside Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Brookside in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Brookside Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Covid-19 Safety Policy
As we enter into Summer 2021, we are fully prepared to take on the challenging circumstances surrounding Covid-19 - we did it in Summer 2020 and we can do it again! The health and safety of all campers, families, and staff members continues to be our absolute top priority. As we are all well-aware, protocols and guidelines surrounding Covid-19 are fluid and as such, we will adapt and adjust our policies, as needed, leading up to and during the camp season.
We encourage you to enroll early as spaces will be limited this summer and we expect that camp will fill up quickly! We are sure you agree that a summer spent at camp will be more needed and meaningful than ever this year.

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Camp Families,
My name is Amy Yusella, and I am excited to introduce myself to you as the Camp Director for Camp Brookside this season! I’m looking forward to joining KE Camps for the first time, but I’m no stranger to all of the fun and adventure that summer camp brings! I’ve previously worked as a summer camp lead counselor for two years, and while growing up, I spent many summers as a camper myself.
During the school year, I work full time as a high school guidance counselor at Brandywine Heights Area School District. This is my second year with the district after receiving my bachelor’s degree from DeSales University in 2016 and my master’s degree from Kutztown University in 2019. My passion has always been to help kiddos be the absolute best versions of themselves. Camp gives me the ability to do what I love in a fun and creative way! I can’t wait to explore your campers’ interests, tap into some of their skills and abilities, and see all that they can achieve this summer.
I am a firm believer that kindness goes a long way and I hope to make this a core focus this summer. Helping others, volunteering, and coming together for the greater good are all things I stand for and would like to incorporate into our time together this summer. I also plan to incorporate team building activities into our plans all summer long. I believe that we can do so much more when we work together than when we work alone.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, playing volleyball and exploring with my rescue pup, Penny. I also love watching the TV show The Amazing Race and am eagerly awaiting the upcoming summer Olympics!
I’m looking forward to an exciting, adventurous, and safe summer with your campers! If you have any questions, concerns, (or want to see any more dog photos), please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to meeting all of you!
