Club Registration Requirements

Both students of British International School of Washington, DC and those who simply live nearby may enroll in BISW Day Camp - all are welcome!

Age Range: 3 - 11

All campers must be at least 3 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained.

Since we are a traditionally-inspired day camp, we love to think of all of our campers and staff as a big camp family for the week.  With that, we always start and end the day as a family with a time we call "Hello Camp and Goodbye Camp".  We also eat lunch together as a group.  Throughout the rest of the camp day, there are 3 ways the campers will be grouped: Whole Camp Activities, Groups by Age and Groups by Activity Choice (Electives).

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
STEM Challenges
Electives: Every afternoon, campers will be able to choose which Elective they would like to attend. Elective choices will vary from day to day and will include fun and interactive subjects such as Sports, Drama, Music, Create & Build, Fine Arts and Movement. Campers look forward to putting their individual KE Camps Tree up on the Elective Board to indicate which activity they choose!

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

KE Camps Presents

Each day, our campers will work on a camp-wide activity that will culminate with an exciting show, event or project conclusion on Friday. Campers always look forward to this team tradition!

Lunch & Snacks

Please pack a lunch for your child in a cooler or backpack along with a snack that he or she can have in the afternoon.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Extra Snacks
Water Bottle
