Club Registration Requirements

If you are not a Club Member of Bentwater Yacht and Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Kamp Bentwater in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Bentwater Yacht and Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 4 - 12

All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.   The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day
Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
Super Science Projects
Yoga: 1 group lesson each week
Zumba: 1 group lesson each week
Soccer: 1 group lesson each week
STEM Challenges

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

Please pack a lunch and snack for your child each day.

Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp.   We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing List

The Club requires that all campers wear the official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Flotation Vest: If you know that your child will be classified as a Bogey (our term for Non-Swimmer) this summer or you prefer your child to be classified this way, please pack a flotation vest for use in the Shallow End of the pool.
Sunscreen: Spray for body is preferred
Water Bottle
