Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Barton Creek Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member or be a Hotel Guest in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp Barton Creek in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Barton Creek Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 3 - 12
All campers must be at least 3 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
My name is Yates Phillips, and I am so excited to return as your Director at Camp Barton Creek this summer! We will have a great summer together. I know how to have fun and I hope you do, too!
I am a total Austinite! I have lived here all of my life and absolutely love this city. I am a big sister to two younger brothers and have been working with children since I was a kid myself. My passion is educating, supporting, and loving children.
After graduating from high school, I was an au pair in Lyon, France for four spirited young children for a year. Upon returning to the states, I earned a bachelor's degree from St. Edward’s University. Post college, I enjoyed a successful career at Lexus, but came to the realization that I love kids way more than cars! I am currently a fourth grade teacher at Campbell Elementary School.
All my life, I have loved camp! I spent last summer as the Director at Camp Barton Creek, and I have even more great plans for lots of fun this summer, too! I can’t wait to make more summer camp memories with you!
See you at camp!
