Club Registration Requirements
If you are not a Club Member of Albuquerque Country Club you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with ACC Day Camp in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows Albuquerque Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.
Age Range: 4 - 10
All campers must be at least 4 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KECamps are exactly alike! Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”. The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

Lunch & Snacks
The club will provide a delicious and kid-friendly lunch for every camper each day. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack. A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.
Please note that we are a “nut aware” camp. We ask that you do not pack any food for your child that contains nuts. Likewise, the lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts. If your child has a food allergy and you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KECamps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home. Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Additional shirts may be purchased at camp. Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Meet Your Camp Director
Dear Campers and Families,
I am very excited to welcome you to KE Camps! I am thrilled to be a part of your summer as camp director. This will be my first year working with KE Camps, and I cannot wait to share my favorite parts about the camp experience with you and your children.
During the school year I teach in a Montessori pre-k/kindergarten classroom. I coach our school’s elementary swim team and run our after school chess club. I am also a student myself, on the journey towards my master's in Educational Psychology. I have worked with kids for well over a decade now, starting from when I was a child myself. I moved to New Mexico almost 4 years ago from the DC area with my husband and two rabbits. We were driven by the sense of adventure and we ended up falling in love with the land and culture we found here. I am always excited to share that appreciation with the kids I meet. Some of my favorite personal hobbies include hiking, camping, yoga, rock climbing, soccer, strategy games, arts and crafts of all kinds, mind puzzles and riddles, and cooking. When you boil it down, my number one favorite hobby is learning new skills.
I have been in both the counselor and director role at a number of camps before this; but more importantly I have been a camper. I know, from first-hand experience, that the memories and friendships made in camp are among the the most cherished moments of childhood. While having fun is the life of any great camp, it is also a place where character is built, skills are explored, authentic friendships are formed, and challenges are overcome. I cannot wait for the adventure my counselors and I will be embarking on this summer with your children.
I am committed to making this summer as special as possible for you and your children. Please feel free to approach me with questions, comments or concerns of any kind. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
