Club Registration Requirements

If you are not a Club Member of WingHaven Country Club, you must be “Sponsored” by a Club Member in order to register your child for camp. The Sponsoring Member will not be charged in association with Camp WingHaven in any way, however, he or she must be aware that you are listing him or her as your Sponsor. This policy allows WingHaven Country Club to ensure that all Non-Members attending camp are associated with a Club Member in some way.

Age Range: 5 - 11

All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a full day program.

Activities

Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with KE Camps are exactly alike!  Our days begin with Hello Camp, a morning meeting of sorts where, through an assortment of organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song! Similarly, we will end our days with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and “see you later’s”.  The bulk of camp will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities throughout the day that may include:

For more information on the golf sessions at camp, please click here.

Golf: 2 recreational group sessions each week
Swimming: recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day
Arts & Crafts
Group Games
Fun with Foods
Super Science Projects
STEM Challenges

Wacky Wednesdays

Every Wednesday at camp is a wacky one with a different festive theme – a true highlight of each week! Check out this summer’s Wacky Wednesday Calendar!

Thankful Thursdays

We are excited to announce the return of Thankful Thursdays into our camp program! In true camp spirit, every Thursday campers will have the chance to give back to their community by working together on a simple, fun and rewarding community service project. Check out this summer’s Thankful Thursday Calendar!

Lunch & Snacks

A kid-friendly lunch will be provided by the club daily. If you would prefer to pack your own lunch for your child, please do so in a cooler or backpack.

A snack will be served each afternoon to all campers. We encourage you to pack some extra snacks for your child as well.

WingHaven Country Club would like to share the following information about its stance on carrying nuts or products containing nuts, in the Clubhouse and on the property. In the past, we have tried to provide a nut-free environment for the members and guests to enjoy. Due to many factors, both internal and external, providing a nut-free environment is not something that the Club can promise or provide. In the future, WingHaven will have limited products that contain nuts, and some products may be cooked using certain kinds of nuts or peanut oil. For our junior golf program and swim team, we will try our best to make these environments as nut-aware as we can, but there is simply no way we can guarantee a nut-free environment. At the end of the day, it is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to monitor what their children eat if they have any food allergies. We do want to make WingHaven as safe as we can, and hope you understand our position on this situation.

Packing List

KE Camps requires all campers to wear our official camp shirt each day of the week.  Campers should dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Please leave all electronic devices and cell phones at home.  Camp is a place to un-plug! Please pack the following items in a labeled bag or backpack:

Extra Snacks (Optional)
Flotation Vest: If you know that your child will be classified as a Bogey (our term for Non-Swimmer) this summer or you prefer your child to be classified this way, please pack a flotation vest for use in the Shallow End of the pool.
Golf Clubs (Encouraged)
Sunscreen: Spray for body is preferred
Swimsuit
